Successful Completion of Medical Camp at Hingalganj, Sundarbans

The Live 4 Help Foundation is pleased to share the successful completion of its Medical Camp, held on 15 February 2026 at the Kalitala Gram Panchayat Office, Hingalganj, North 24 Parganas – the last human-inhabited village of the Sundarbans at the India–Bangladesh border.

The camp was a remarkable success, made possible through the collective and well-coordinated efforts of LIVE 4 HELP Foundation, GKSN Well Wishers Association, and our sponsor Erbe Medical India Pvt. Ltd., along with the invaluable support of the Kalitala local community.

Key local organizers – Pijush Kumar Mondal, Kajal Mandal, Binay Ray, Asis Barman, and Ardhendu Sekhar Mandal from GKSN Well Wishers Association – played a crucial role in coordinating the event and ensuring the participation of genuine beneficiaries. Debashis Das from LIVE 4 HELP Foundation and Damanbir Singh from Erbe Medical India actively participated on-site, contributing significantly to the smooth execution of the camp.

During the camp, blood samples were collected from local community members, and their blood pressure and weight were recorded. The primary objective was to provide participants with a comprehensive diagnostic prescription from reputed doctors after receiving their blood test reports.

The blood tests covered an extensive range of diagnostics, including Complete Haemogram, HbA1c, Cancer Screening, TSH, Blood Sugar, Lipid Profile, Iron Profile, Kidney Function Test, Liver Function Test, Vitamin D, Vitamin B12, and Sodium levels.  Through this medical camp, 181 participants were able to access these tests completely free of cost, along with a comprehensive medical prescription.

On behalf of LIVE 4 HELP Foundation, we extend our heartfelt gratitude to GKSN Well Wishers Association for their tremendous on-ground support, Erbe Medical India Pvt. Ltd. for sponsoring the event, and all the local volunteers whose dedication and efforts made this initiative a grand success.

Mangrove Restoration Initiative – Sundarban, West Bengal Week of 7 February 2026

In February 2026, Live 4 Help Foundation (L4H) furthered its environmental conservation mission through a large-scale mangrove restoration initiative in the Sundarban region of West Bengal. As part of this effort, 10,000 native mangrove saplings were planted to strengthen coastal ecosystems and enhance long-term ecological resilience.

The plantation included indigenous mangrove species such as Sundari, Bain, Kakra, Garjan, Golpata, and Dhuldhul, carefully selected for their adaptability and critical role in sustaining the biodiversity and stability of coastal mangrove habitats.

Mangrove ecosystems are vital for coastal protection, biodiversity conservation, and the livelihoods of communities living in climate-vulnerable regions. This initiative contributes to restoring ecological balance while promoting nature-based solutions that support long-term environmental sustainability and climate resilience.

The project was generously supported by M/s Eastman India under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program, reflecting a shared commitment to responsible environmental stewardship. L4H extends special thanks to Mr. V. B. Sud for his leadership and support in facilitating the CSR partnership with M/s Eastman India.

L4H also acknowledges the dedicated efforts of Mr. Animesh Mandal and his team, whose on-ground coordination and implementation were instrumental in the successful execution of the plantation activity.

To ensure the durability and long-term success of the initiative, L4H has committed to continuous monitoring and maintenance. This includes the replacement of damaged saplings and the repair of protective fencing affected by river currents and extreme weather conditions, thereby supporting healthy establishment and sustained growth of the mangroves over time.

As part of its ongoing mission, Live 4 Help Foundation invites corporate partners to support future phases of its mangrove restoration program through CSR sponsorships. Such collaborations enable the scaling of plantation efforts, sustained maintenance, and the creation of lasting ecological impact in vulnerable coastal regions.

Please find attached a few photographs from the activity for your perusal. These images capture the spirit of the initiative and the collective efforts of everyone involved.

Live 4 Help Foundation conducted two blanket distribution activities in Delhi covering 180 families on Jan 17th, 2026

The Live 4 Help Foundation recently conducted two successful blanket distribution activities in Delhi, reaching out to 180 families in need. With sponsorship from ERBE Medical India Pvt Ltd, the foundation provided winter relief to these families through two events held on the same day.

The first event, in collaboration with The Stand N Stride Foundation, saw the distribution of high-quality blankets and refreshments to 120 students at their SnS Park Pathshala in Sector 19, Dwarka. We extend our heartfelt gratitude to Amod Poddar (Founder) and Usha Zalpuri (General Secretary) of Stand N Stride Foundation for their unwavering support and encouraging words. They emphasized that these blankets not only provide warmth during the cold weather but also strengthen the bond of trust between mentors and children. We are deeply thankful to both Stand N Stride Foundation and ERBE for their unwavering support of our vision to protect and empower the new generation. Special thanks are also due to Ritesh Kumar, a dedicated volunteer of Live 4 Help Foundation for his meticulous arrangements for refreshments and coordination.

The second event took place at Arya Mahila Ashram, Delhi, where blankets were distributed to 60 elderly single women. We were profoundly touched by the stories we heard and the resilience of the beneficiaries, highlighting how even a small gesture can provide immense relief during Delhi’s harsh winter. We are grateful to Sanskriti Rajput and the NSS team of volunteers for their efficient arrangements and coordination.

We extend our sincere appreciation to Rakesh Kundu, Executive Director at ERBE, and his larger Delhi team for their unwavering support of the foundation’s cause. Live 4 Help Foundation’s In-Person Interaction with Beneficiary Students in 2025

The Live 4 Help (L4H) Foundation believes in the power of face-to-face interactions to build strong relationships with students and motivate them to achieve their full potential. In December 2025, three core members, Tarun Maiti from Delhi, Ramkrishna Sadhukhan from the USA, and Asis Das from Kolkata, embarked on a five-day tour of West Bengal and Jharkhand to meet and support students.

The primary objective of these meetings was to review the students’ progress, address any challenges they might be facing, and understand their aspirations. Additionally, the team aimed to assess whether any additional facilities or support were needed to enhance their performance and morale.

On December 20th, the L4H team visited the Bankura District of West Bengal and met with Shatarupa Mandal, who is pursuing her second year of MBBS. at Bankura Sammilani Medical College.  She expressed determination to make the most of the limited resources and facilities available on campus and assured us that her efforts, coupled with our support, would not go in vain.

The following day, December 21st, the team travelled to Purulia town and met Shubham Pandey, who is pursuing a PhD at the University of Florida after completing a master’s degree from IIT, Chennai, and Hriday Pramanik, who is progressing well in his Engineering studies. After detailed discussions about their studies, the team visited their homes to meet and encourage their parents, who were extremely delighted to see us.

On December 22nd, the team visited Trimurti Public School in Chas, Bokaro, where they met seven students: Ayush Kumar, Sakshi, Kushi Kumari, Riya Raj, Md. Taslim, Sahiba Kaur, and Price Kumar Jha. The team interacted with each student individually, reviewed their progress, and provided advice on achieving their goals. The Vice Principal of the school, Smt. Razia Sultan, was found to be very cooperative and supportive of both the students and L4H.

On December 23rd, the team moved to Madhupur and visited Anandalaya Public School in Jharkhand and had detailed interactions with seven students: Abha Kumari, Punam Kisku, Rakhi Kumari, Jeenat Parween, Subhani Parween, Mahin Parween, and Puja Kumari. While the students were generally doing well, they expressed concerns about their proficiency in English. Virtual classes on spoken English were suggested as a potential solution to help them immensely. The team also felt that periodic reviews and regular interactions would boost their morale and build a sense of accountability.

In Kolkata, the team met with five students: Satyabrata Patra and Subhankar Das from Belgharia R. K. Mission Student’s Home, and Rohan Dwari, Babita Giri, and Sudip Das from East Garia Educational Institution. Jayanta Guin, one of our sponsors from the USA, accompanied the team to meet with Rohit Dwari, whom he is supporting, as well as other students from East Garia Educational Institution. The team’s goal is to connect students with their sponsors to provide first-hand experiences.

Overall, the team connected with 22 students, reaffirming L4H’s commitment to these interactions. They were pleased to learn that some students aspired to become IAS and IPS officers, while others were keen on pursuing higher studies.

To continue this impactful work, we seek your generous support. Donations will aid in providing educational materials, funding community learning programs, and expanding digital literacy initiatives. Every contribution makes a difference. For more information, visit www.live4help.org or contact us at live4help.org@gmail.com.

Dear All,

Live 4 Help Foundation, in partnership with GKSN Well Wishers’ Association and with the generous sponsorship of Erbe Medical India Pvt Limited, successfully conducted a Medical Camp on December 7th, 2025. This initiative was made possible through the collaborative efforts of our sponsors, school authorities, and dedicated volunteers.

As one of the core members of the Foundation, I can attest to the success of the event. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Erbe Medical India Pvt Limited for their imperative sponsorship. The presence of Rwiddhi Pratim (Sarkar) from ERBE was highly inspirational and appreciated by all. Without the full support and on-the-ground cooperation from ERBE and GKSN Well Wishers’ Association, we couldn’t have delivered this successful medical camp.

I would also like to express our gratitude to Dr. Sunil Bhoumik for his invaluable presence at the camp. His involvement always adds immense value to our beneficiaries, and his willingness to support us is greatly appreciated.

On a personal note, it was a pleasure to reconnect with Ramakrishna (Sadhukhan), Asish (Das), and Animesh (Mandal) after a long time. Meeting them added a special touch to the day.

We look forward to future events organized together by LIVE4HELP and GKSN Well Wishers’ Association.

Regards,

Joint Humanitarian Relief Initiative: Live 4 Help Foundation and Erbe Medical India Pvt Ltd in Bankura, West Bengal

On November 15–16, 2025, Live 4 Help Foundation, in partnership with Erbe Medical India Pvt Ltd, conducted a humanitarian relief program in the remote villages of Kuilapahari and Beriathol, located near Susunia Hill under the Gangajalghati block in Bankura District, West Bengal. These villages, situated approximately 250 kilometres from Kolkata, are predominantly inhabited by tribal communities, most of whom are landless agricultural labourers facing chronic unemployment and underemployment. As a result, malnutrition remains a significant concern within these populations.

A dedicated team of volunteers, led by Anirban Chattopadhyay, visited the villages to distribute essential relief materials. The initiative provided the following support to the residents:

  • Blankets: Distributed to assist families in preparing for the approaching winter season.
  • Mosquito Nets: Supplied to mitigate the risk of fatalities caused by snake and scorpion bites, which are prevalent during sleep.
  • Protein-rich Food Items: Red lentils and chickpeas were distributed to address nutritional deficiencies and improve overall health.

The relief program reached 93 families, encompassing a total adult population of 454 individuals. In total, 182 blankets and 108 mosquito nets were distributed.

Live 4 Help Foundation expresses its sincere appreciation to Erbe Medical India Pvt Ltd for their generous sponsorship and to Anirban Chattopadhyay for exemplary leadership in executing the program. Photographic documentation of the event underscores the substantial positive impact that targeted assistance can have on underprivileged communities.
