She Was Expected to Marry at 15. At 26, She Achieved Financial Independence.

How courage, resilience, and the sustained support of Live 4 Help Foundation carried Anjali Kisku from a remote Santhal village to a career of her own.

Alumna Anjali Kisku (center) during a recent visit by Live 4 Help Foundation core members Debashis Das and Tarun Maiti (2nd and 3rd from left), joined by volunteers Suchandra Chatterjee (left) and Anirban Chattopadhaya (right).

Anjali Kisku came from Kayamati, a remote Santhal village in Bankura, West Bengal, where early marriage is common for girls her age. In a community where daughters are often married by 15 or 16, Anjali made a different choice. She stayed determined to complete her bachelor’s degree — and she refused to let it go.

That determination was tested during COVID, when her university shifted to online exams. Her father, a daily wage worker, could not afford a phone or data recharge. Swapno Uran & Live 4 Help Foundation stepped in and arranged them, financed for her education and Anjali sat her exams. It was a small act of support with a life-changing result: she graduated.

“In a community where girls are often married by 15 or 16, she chose education, built skills, and achieved financial independence.”

Building Skills, One Opportunity at a Time After graduation, Anjali set her sights on becoming financially independent. With support from Swapno Uran and funding from Live 4 Help Foundation, she completed a beekeeping course under Khadi Gramodyog and received bee boxes to begin. She even trained girls at Pandit Raghunath Murmu Abashik School — though the nearby forest and hilly terrain made beekeeping hard, as the bees often swarmed away.

She did not give up. Anjali trained in mushroom farming and cultivated it successfully. The Foundation recognized her talent for painting, encouraged her to create fabric-painted bags, and helped her sell them. Alongside this, she received basic computer training and coaching for job-oriented exams.

A Career of Her Own In 2025, Anjali was admitted to ATDC (Apparel Training and Design Centre), Kolkata, for a diploma course. She completed it in March 2026 and today works as a QC Supervisor in a garment company — financially independent at 26 and is a role model for the girls of her village.

Your Support Writes the Next Chapter Anjali’s journey began with something as simple as a phone recharged and grew into a career. That is the power of sustained support — and there are many more young women in villages like Kayamati waiting for their chance. A gift to Live 4 Help Foundation funds education, vocational training, and the everyday support that turns determination into opportunity. Stand with the next Anjali.

From Conversations to Commitments

What began as dialogue quickly evolved into decisive action. These interactions were not routine meetings; they became catalysts for deeper partnerships and long-term impact.

• Long-standing supporters chose to deepen their engagement by becoming Life Members, transitioning from contributors to committed partners in change.
• New CSR conversations translated into tangible initiatives, including scalable environmental projects such as the Miyawaki forestation program.
• Partnerships with institutions expanded, creating new opportunities in education and sustainable community development.

Each conversation reinforced a shared vision—to move beyond intent and deliver measurable, meaningful outcomes.

Driving Change Where It Matters Most

At the heart of Live4Help’s approach lies a deep commitment to working closely with underserved communities. Through direct engagement, the Foundation ensures that every initiative is guided by real needs and designed for lasting transformation.

Key focus areas include:

• Education Empowerment: Supporting tribal and underprivileged students with access to quality learning opportunities
• Women’s Health: Advancing awareness and access to essential healthcare services
• Climate Resilience: Strengthening vulnerable ecosystems through initiatives like mangrove restoration

These efforts are not standalone interventions; they are part of an integrated strategy to build self-reliant, resilient communities.

Proof That Change is Possible

Behind every initiative lies a story of transformation.

Stories like that of Anjali Kisku—who rose from adversity to independence through sustained support—serve as powerful reminders of what is possible when compassion meets commitment. These are not just individual successes; they represent the ripple effect of collective action and sustained investment in people.

An Invitation to Create Impact Together

As we continue this journey, the opportunity ahead is significant. Today, we invite you to be part of this movement. Your generous support will help us scale these proven interventions, reach more vulnerable communities, needy and bright students, and build long-term, sustainable ecosystems of change

Together, we can transform lives—not just for today, but for generations to come. Your partnership can help transform lives—not just today, but for generations to come.

Together, we can turn purpose into enduring impact.

Live 4 Help Foundation (L4H) advanced its environmental sustainability mission through a large-scale mangrove restoration initiative in the Sundarban region of West Bengal. Under this initiative, 5,000 native mangrove saplings were planted on May 30^th, 2026, to help strengthen fragile coastal ecosystems, enhance biodiversity, and build long-term climate resilience in one of India’s most vulnerable ecological zones.

The plantation included indigenous mangrove species such as Sundari, Bain, Kakra, Garjan, Golpata, and Dhuldhul, carefully selected for their adaptability and critical role in sustaining the biodiversity and stability of coastal mangrove habitats.

Environmental Significance

Mangrove ecosystems play a critical role in coastal protection, carbon sequestration, biodiversity preservation, and sustaining the livelihoods of communities living in climate-sensitive regions. This initiative reflects a practical, nature-based solution to environmental restoration while contributing to long-term ecological balance, disaster risk reduction, and community resilience.

CSR Partnership and Support

This project was generously supported by M/s ABS Professional India Pvt Ltd under its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programme, demonstrating a meaningful commitment to environmental stewardship and sustainable community impact. Live 4 Help Foundation sincerely acknowledges Mr. Piyush Jagadish for his leadership in enabling this CSR collaboration and Mr. Kaushik Bhattacharya for his valued encouragement and support.

Implementation and Field Coordination

L4H also recognizes the dedicated contribution of Dr. Animesh Mandal and his team (Asim Das, Mihir Mistry, Sabita Sardar, Jharna Mandal, Bijali Das, and Nandita Sardar), whose on-ground coordination, community engagement, and implementation support were instrumental to the successful execution of the plantation drive. Special thanks to Animesh and his family to host a lovely luncheon during the event.

Community Participation and Impact

The Foundation was encouraged by the strong participation of its members and well-wishers, who not only joined the plantation activity but also reviewed and assessed the impact of earlier plantation drives conducted over the years. It was deeply inspiring to witness stretches of riverbanks now turning green due to the steady growth of mangroves planted in previous phases, including sites restored just months earlier. At the same time, visible soil erosion in adjoining areas served as a powerful reminder of the urgency and importance of sustained restoration efforts. The heartfelt words of appreciation from local resident Razia Sultana further reaffirmed the value of this initiative for the community. The Foundation extends sincere thanks to Kajal Mandal, Debashis Das, and Tarun Maiti for their coordination and preparation of the event, and acknowledges the presence and participation of Joyita Maiti, Ajay Ray, Ambarish Das, and Bibekananda Maiti.

Commitment to Sustainability

The Foundation remains committed to post-plantation care through regular monitoring, replacement of damaged saplings, and repair of protective fencing affected by river currents and extreme weather. This sustained maintenance approach is essential to ensuring healthy establishment, long-term survival, and measurable environmental impact.

Invitation for Future CSR Collaboration

As part of its ongoing environmental mission, Live 4 Help Foundation welcomes partnerships with corporate organisations to support future phases of its mangrove restoration programme through CSR sponsorships. Such collaborations can help expand plantation coverage, strengthen long-term maintenance, and generate lasting ecological and community impact across vulnerable coastal regions.

Please find attached a few photographs from the activity for your perusal. These images capture the spirit of the initiative and the collective efforts of everyone involved.

In FY 2025–26, we reached a moment that will forever remain special in our journey: for the first time since inception, the cumulative number of students supported through our education initiative crossed 100.

This milestone is not just a number. It represents 100+ individual stories of resilience, hope, and determination – and countless families who believe that education can transform lives.

Growing Step by Step: From Vision to Impact

What began as a small effort to support a handful of deserving students has today grown into a multi‑state education support program spanning 11 states and 47 institutions.

As of April 2026:

• 107 students have been supported cumulatively
• Students span from secondary school to professional degrees, including Engineering, Nursing, MBBS, BA, BSc, Diploma and Post‑Graduate programs
• 64% of beneficiaries are girls, reflecting our strong commitment to inclusive education
• Average student age: ~15 years, highlighting early intervention at critical learning stages

This steady growth reflects not scale for the sake of numbers, but thoughtful, need‑based support, renewed year after year.

Education That Reaches Where It’s Needed Most

Our students come from diverse regions across India, with major representation from:

• West Bengal (39%)
• Jharkhand (28%)
• Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Odisha, Delhi, Uttarakhand, Bihar, Karnataka and others

Each dot on the map represents students by state with a dream and inner urge, drive and a quiet determination to change their future.

Beyond Fees: What Support Truly Means

Our educational assistance goes far beyond tuition support. It includes:

• School & college fees
• Books, uniforms, and academic materials
• Counseling and mentoring were required
• Continuity support to prevent dropouts in critical years

Over the years, education spend has grown steadily, reaching its highest level in FY 2025–26, demonstrating our long‑term commitment, not one‑time charity.

This Milestone Belongs to Our Supporters

Crossing the 100‑student mark would not have been possible without:

• Individual donors who give consistently
• CSR partners who believe in long‑term impact
• Volunteers who identify, mentor and track student progress

Every contribution – big or small – has helped convert aspiration into action.

Join Us in Shaping the Next 100 Stories

While we celebrate this milestone, our mission continues. There are many more children standing on the edge of opportunity, waiting for someone to believe in them.

We invite:

• Individual donors to sponsor a student or partial education support
• Corporate / CSR partners to collaborate on structured, transparent education programs
• Well-wishers and volunteers to help us reach deserving students
